What may be collected
- Name or nickname if you choose to provide it.
- Contact number or email if follow-up is needed.
- Store, area, city, claim text, and notes from your submission.
- Label photos or packaging photos you upload.
This early version keeps privacy simple: collect only what is useful for label submissions and review, avoid unnecessary tracking, and keep contributor details out of public pages.
Public label pages should focus on the item, the label evidence, and the shelf context. Personal contributor contact details should remain internal to the review workflow.
During the current proof-of-concept, some submissions may be stored in a local fallback queue while the full CMS database workflow is still being finished.
Submission photos are meant for label review, not for building a public archive of contributor identity. Store and area details may be used to describe where a shelf check happened, but private personal details should not appear on public pages.
As the app matures, this page should be updated with clearer retention rules, analytics disclosures, media-storage details, and deletion/contact processes.
